An overview of Text-to-Give

Text-to-Give is the online giving feature that allows contributors to text an amount and select the designation, and even set up recurring gifts.

There are two ways to get started with Text-to-Give:  

• From within the Churchteams application, go to Giving > Text-to-Give Info.  Either click the button to start your trial or scroll a bit further down to submit an information card and ask any questions you might have.
• Get started right away by calling 877-505-3260.  Of course we can also answer your questions at this number, too.

How does Text-to-Give work?

Give it a try.

• Text the word GIVE to 817-677-9850.  
• You'll get a text link back - click that to see it work.  All a contributor needs is their name, email and credit/debit or bank account numbers.  For this test, you can use our sandbox card 4003 0001 2345 6781, exp 04/22, CVV 123.  But, once a donor is officially signed up, we highly recommend the use of checking or savings accounts to save around 2% on fees compared to a credit card.

This gives you a sample of how Text-to-Give looks from the Contributor's perspective.  Contributions will automatically come into Churchteams and be posted to the member's contributions.
