500 outgoing texts sent through Text-to-Church (includes Workflows, mass texts, and conversational) are included monthly. Each additional text is $0.02 each.
- MMS (texts that include image and audio files) are billed as 1 for 3. For each MMS text you send, you are billed as 3 regular texts.
- There is no charge for incoming texts or the link that is sent back out as a result of texting in a Keyword, i.e. a person texts a Keyword to register for an event and the link to register is sent back out - there is no charge for the registration link being sent, nor will they count toward the 500 included texts.
Bulk-rate Texting Plans are available if you plan on regularly sending more than 500 texts per month (pricing chart at the bottom of this page). Depending on the number of texts you send, you could encounter some additional fees per text .
- When sending bacis SMS, every 159 characters in an outgoing text count as 1 text. Ex: a text message containing 300 characters will count as 2 texts sent. To redirect to a website, use the Text-to-Link feature highlighted above. **For longer text messages, we recommend sending a MMS message (which counts as 3 SMS texts) which allows 1600 characters.
- The text-sending page displays a month-to-date count of scheduled and sent texts, as well as the cost of sending the text you are working on. You will also see the price to send the text on the green Send button.
We also offer high-volume pricing for churches and organizations that send a lot of texts. If you are interested in a bulk texting package, go to Communicate > Text > Settings.
