How do I create and use Text Templates?

Create Text messages for messages you regularly send out or for Workflow communication content

Go to Communicate > Text > Templates.

Create your text content in the Text Message screen.  We recommend that you limit the characters to 159 characters so that any mobile carrier will not break the content into multiple texts. 

Once you have created the content of the message, click Save as a Template.  Name the Template and click Save.  

The next time you want to send a text from a Template you've created, go to Communicate > Text > Send.  Filter to those you want to send the text to, then Run the Report.  From the Text screen, use the "Select Text Message Template" drop-down menu to pull up your save template and send it.
