("Party of" option) ## Creating a registration field with reservation total when you only need to know the "Party of" number, and not information about the individuals attending A registration field with reservation total lets people register themselves and others without registering each person individually.  *Note: This type of registration attribute should be used **only** in cases when you do not need information about others in the party who are attending, e.g. Wednesday night dinner.*   First, create the Registration Attribute you will use on the form. Go to  **Groups & Events \> Settings \> Registration Fields.**   1. Click the blue "+New Registration Field" button to create a new registration attribute that will be used for people to indicate how many people are attending. 2. The Attribute Type is Dropdown List. 3. The Field Name should be something that indicates to the registrant that they need to select the total number of people coming to the event, including themselves.  We suggest something like "Party of ..." or "Total number in your party" (similar to what people use for restaurant reservations). In the Menu Choices column, enter the total number in the party/group /reservation. 5. The "Party Of" registrant attribute is now ready to be included in  your registration form in Registration Settings. 7. ![MultiPerson](https://help.churchteams.com/hs-fs/hubfs/MultiPerson.png?width=172&height=66&name=MultiPerson.png)As you set up your Registration Settings, in **Settings Section 4 - Form & Event Settings**, ensure that "allow multi-person registrations" is UNCHECKED. 8. The "Total Registered" number determines the maximum group size / registration limit.  Be sure to include instructions for those who try to register once the Registration Limit is reached. 11.
