[Member App](https://help.churchteams.com/knowledge/communicate?hsLang=en#member-app) # Installing the Churchteams Member App ## A quick how-to video for accessing and installing the App on Android or iPhone The Churchteams Member App is a Progressive Web App, so it isn't available for purchase in the App or Google Play stores.  To get the App, a person can text ME to your Text-to-Church number, or staff can send out a link to access the App, and from there, anyone can install it on their Apple or Android device. ### Get the App by Texting ME to your church's Text-to-Church number Anyone can text "ME" to your Text-to-Church number to get the Churchteams App.  For anyone not already in your database, a link will be returned connecting them to register their information, and a verification email will be sent.  To see what registration form is being sent to new guests, from the navigation menu go to **Communicate \> Text \> Settings**, and the form connected is listed under "Text-to-ME guest registration group." Once they open the verification email from their phone and click Verify, the App will open for installation.  Texting ME by someone already in the database returns a member update link, which opens the App for installation. Once on the login page, the person should use the same email address and password they used to log into their online giving account.  If they have never donated online or accessed the App, we recommend clicking "Forgot My Password" to set up a new online account. ### Get the App via an Emailed Link #### ![Screenshot 2025-06-02 103802](https://help.churchteams.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Screenshot%202025-06-02%20103802.png?width=670&height=458&name=Screenshot%202025-06-02%20103802.png) #### Access to installing the App Step 1 is for staff to push out an invitation to the App.  The easiest way to invite an individual to access the App is to go to their Person Profile and use the "Invite to Update" button.  Check out this [tutorial](https://help.churchteams.com/knowledge/how-do-people-get-access-to-the-member-app?hsLang=en) for other ways to give access and info on mass inviting everyone to get the App. #### Installing the App Once someone is given access to the App, Step 2 is to install the App.  Here's a quick video for installing the App on an Apple and an Android phone.  *It's important to note that the login credentials should be the email address and password you used to set up your online giving account.  If you do not currently have an online giving account set up, click the "Forgot Password" button on the login screen.*      -
