Recommended computer's, Printer's (labels), and tablet's for Check-in.

Hardware and label recommendations for Check-in.

For a wired printer we recommend the Dymo Labelwriter 450 Turbo. Generally the Dymo Shipping/Name Badge labels (30256) which are about 4" x 2"or any label in that ballpark if you want to print typical information like parents names, room number and allergies. Some churches limit the data and use the smaller labels (30258) which are about 2 1/8” x 2 ¾”.

For a wireless solution we recommend the BrotherQL 820NWB and the label that works well is W-DK2205 (Refill Rolls) Brother Continuous Label Tape 2.4″ x 100′

Any PC capable of running a full version of Windows 10 (Home, Pro, Enterprise) will work and so generally we don't recommend one brand of PC.  Mac's only using Chrome and the new Edge will also work with a bit more set up (See instructions here). 

iPads of course work well but a PC or Mac is REQUIRED to utilize an iPad or any other tablet if you want to print labels.  If you are not printing and just taking attendance, then you can use tablets by themselves.
