Does the system notify us and/or the donor when a credit card expires?

Churchteams does notify both you and the donor. It can also look for a new expiration date if you choose to set this up.

On any decline, for any reason, the donor is notified via email from Churchteams with the organizations name in the subject line and from GoE.  The organization can be informed as well of declined recurring donations using the notifications emails settings.  There is not a report available in CT or GoE that specifically pinpoints expired cards just these notifications.

FAPS/GoE has a product available now that automatically reaches out to the card issuers to get the new expiration date.  It does not notify the cardholder.  It has a $50 registration fee, $10/month and 15 cents each time a card is updated.  If you are interested in this feature, please contact Bryce@Churchteams.com.
