Why are parents mobile numbers showing up on their kids profiles in Churchteams?

When a parent uses their mobile phone to register a child (in a registration where there is not first a parent registration, then secondary child registration), the phone number becomes linked to the registrant - the child.  
You can remove this by going to the child's page, then clicking the Account icon just below their name (see image below).  On the Account page, remove the cell phone number shown.  You must have Financial Admin privileges to do this.

We recommend as a best practice, that anytime you create a registration for Children, you sent that up as a secondary registration from an initial parent registration.  There are two big benefits to this setup:
  1. You will not have Parent phone numbers and email addresses being inadvertently added to a Child's account.
  2. For families with more than 1 child, this saves them steps - as they can enter shared information such as Address, Phone, Health Insurance, Medical Release info, etc. one time on the parent page.
